Payments

You can pay via bank transfer or bank check.

When you make the reservation request, you will be asked to pay a signal of 30% of the total value. The rest will be paid upon delivery.

Depending on how the company was opened, you might, or not, be able to deduce the VAT. For more information contact you accounting service.

Insurance

In order to take your tuk tuk from our offices you need to have an Exploration Civil Liability Insurance. Without it the vehicle can’t circulate. Please be aware that the insurances vary from sector to sector. This means that depending on your area of activity you might need other insurances.

If you’ve bought your e-Tuk to carry out a tourist activity, you’ll need Operating Liability Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance. These two documents will be needed to obtain your National Register of Tourist Entertainment Agents (RNAAT) from Turismo de Portugal. Check out the Turismo de Portugal website for more information.

Warranty & After Sales

Terms and conditions of our diagnostic and repair service

  • The initial diagnosis has a fixed cost of 60€ + VAT.
  • If you decide to repair your Tuk Tuk immediately, we will provide you with a detailed quote. If you accept the quote, we will proceed with the repair and the diagnostic fee will be discounted.
  • If the repair requires replacement parts and we don’t have the material in stock, we’ll order it directly from the factory. The delivery time will depend solely on them.
  • If the factory’s warranty covers the problem, and following confirmation from the manufacturer, we will issue a credit note and refund the amount paid.
  • If you prefer to wait for confirmation of the factory warranty, we can only proceed with the service once this has been confirmed. You will need to wait for the factory to reply during this period.

All vehicles are subject to the warranty provided by the manufacturer, and the period of cover differs from part to part. Find out more about warranty coverage and after-sales service.

To activate the warranty on your e-Tuk, simply fill out this form. Our technical team will contact you as soon as possible.

The image below shows the location of the VIN on vehicles produced before 2022. Alternatively, you can find this information on the right-hand side of the vehicle’s exhaust pipe.

Delivery

In order to pick up your tuk tuk you will need to have the mandatory insurance documents with you. You must also have no outstanding payments.

Delivery times vary depending on the availability of e-Tuks at the factory. However, it will be a maximum of 3 months from payment of the reservation.
