In fact, according to data from Marktest’s e-Commerce barometer, in 2023 the total number of shoppers using digital media reached 62.1%, with the 45-54 age group registering the greatest growth among online shoppers. This increased interest in online shopping brings challenges and opportunities for companies, particularly in the Last Mile sector. According to data from Deloitte, customers highly value the shopping experience, with 83% considering it as important as the quality of the products and 59% willing to pay more for a good experience. In this sense, ensuring that products are delivered as quickly as possible, at a reduced cost and with a low environmental impact is becoming increasingly important.
