Warranty
All vehicles are covered by the warranty provided by E-Tuk Factory, and the period covered differs from part to part. You can consult them below. Please note that the information below is for information purposes only and that consultation of the Warranty Conditions is essential.
What's covered
E-Tuk frames are free from construction or material flaws for a period of 3 years
For the paint of the frame and front fork a warranty of 2 years applies regarding rust from the inside.
On the front forks and dampers, as well as all chrome and painted parts of the Goods, the Warranty applies for a period of 1 year, of course under the condition that these parts and other parts of the Goods related thereto are properly maintained.
1 year or 25000 Km ( in case of confirmed good maintenance, no signs of bad usage or vehicles not approved changes)
Lithium battery has 2 years complete warranty.
All other parts have 1 year warranty
- Motor: 2 years.
- Charger: 1 year.
- Controller: 1 year.
- Differential: 1 year
What's not covered
If one or more of the following circumstances occur, the Other Party is explicitly excluded from Warranty:
- Improper or abusive use of the Goods;
- The Goods are not used exactly as described in the Manual and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and agreed terms;
- The product is not maintained exactly as described in the Manual;
- The Goods are not maintained by a service party that is explicitly approved in writing by E-Tuk;
- Changes made to the Goods, such as changes in the settings, speed limits or controller, without prior written approval by E-Tuk; and/or
- Damage as a result of stone chippings or other external conditions, including environmental damages.
Furthermore, damage to (parts of) the Goods as a result of the below mentioned circumstances is explicitly excluded from Warranty:
- Wrong or improper setting of the brakes;
- Normal wear & tear of tear parts like brake cables, brake shoes, brake pads, interior, exterior and tires;
- Improper, untimely, or off-spec maintenance of the Goods greases & oils, such as the differential oil and brake oil;
- Improper, untimely, or off-spec filling of the individual battery cells;
- Regular wear of chrome or parts or body parts, such as due to weather conditions;
- Improper technical repairs;
- Use of improper or off-spec replacement parts; and/or Improper cleaning methods of cleaning materials.
It is common that the performance of batteries gradually decreases. E-Tuk does not grant any warranty for such decreased performances and other common reduce performances.
